Performance

The EZONE 100 offers an impressive combination of power and control. Its 100 sq. inch head provides a generous sweet spot, while the 11.2 oz strung weight balances maneuverability with stability. The racket excels in baseline play, offering crisp volleys and spin-friendly groundstrokes.

I particularly love this racket on my forehand for it’s ability to hit through the court and reward aggressive stroke play, and also the volleys which I found very punchy and reactive off the string bed.

Overall this is fast becoming one of my favourite rackets of 2024!

Pros

1. Excellent power-to-control ratio

2. Comfortable and arm-friendly

3. Versatile performance suits various playing styles

4. Good spin potential

5. Enhanced sweet spot due to ISOMETRIC head shape

Cons

1. May lack precision for advanced players preferring maximum control

2. Slightly high swingweight might be challenging for slower swing speeds

3. While my forehands and volleys feel amazing, I am struggling with my backhand and slice backhand with this racket.

Conclusion

The Yonex EZONE 100 is a well-rounded racket that caters to a wide range of players. Its blend of power, control, and comfort makes it an excellent choice for intermediate to advanced players looking to elevate their game. While it may not suit those seeking extreme control or power, its versatility and forgiving nature make it a top contender in its category.
