Tecnifibre TF-40 (2024) Review

First impressions

I will be on court Tecnifibre TF-40 in both 18x20 (295g) and 16x19 (305g) options.

Both rackets are being strung at 49lb with Tecnifibre Razor Soft string.

Play-test conditions; mild, indoor session on hard court.

First impressions of this racket is that it had amazing control. It did however lack some power compared to other frames I’ve played with, but this was compensated for by increased touch and precision with both groundstrokes. Volleys also came off this racket super crisp with a clean feeling of connectivity from racket to ball.

The cosmetic is eye-catching and I think Tecnifibre have done a nice update to their previous frame in this version.

Overall rating 8/10

Recommended for: players who naturally generate power will enjoy what this racket generates in terms of ball control and accuracy.
