A guide to Australian Open 2025

For the first time I will be sharing some of my tips and tricks for spectators attending the 2025 Australian Open tennis grand slam in Melbourne.

🔖 @hitwithme’s Australian Open tips if you’re heading to the Aus Open for the first time! 🎾 🇦🇺

- At only $10 per day, AO2025 opening week is a great value way to see your favourite players training and in open practice sessions ahead of the grand slam

- The crowds in opening week are far smaller and therefore you’re more easily able to watch top players practicing

- Rod Laver Arena (and also John Cain Arena) seats can be a little hit and miss depending on their court position / how many rows you’re back.

- Margaret Court Arena features lower seeds eg. 5-15 in world but is a great spectator arena to watch matches on.

- Remember that in week one, a ground pass / general admission ticket will be very worthwhile, with lots of outside court matches to enjoy. You don’t necessarily need a stadium ticket unless there’s a top seed you’d like to catch on RLA / MCA.

Stay tuned for more insights and ways to maximise your 2025 experience here in Melbourne 😊
